3 Days, 3 Quotes – Day 2

I was nominated for this one by the fantabulous A Guy Called Bloke, he loves a wee quote as much as I do so I was delighted to see I was tagged!

The rules are simple:

1. Thank the person who nominates you – thank you!!

2. Post one quote per day for 3 consecutive days

3. Nominate three new bloggers each day

Today’s quotes come from Philip Seymour Hoffman movies.

Years ago I was watching one of his flicks with my mum and made a comment like “I always hate his characters”. My mum replied “it’s a sign of a good actor if he can make you hate him”. From that moment on I had a new found respect for the man and he still remains one of my favourite actors.

I know I’m renominating some people but this is a fun one! However no need to take part if you don’t want to!

      1. To be honest, I’ve always hated them but ‘im indoors, Sthmellyarth and Princess PITA all had them do it was handy for FaceTime. All those TRAITORS have switched and I’m now the only iPhone user! I really want to wait until I move to get a new phone as I may need to switch provider if Sprint has bad reception where I end up.. so it makes sense to do the lot at once! In the meantime I’ll just whine incessantly and pitch numerous hissy fits!

  1. I could never distinguish him from his onscreen characters. Like you – I hated his characters. But I didn’t know if it was because they were bad, or it was just him.
But these are really good quotes.

  2. Thanks so much for the nomination, especially when I have failed to deserve it by not responding to your previous one (April has been a busy/bad month). I promise to get on with this one soon!!! I hadn’t heard of any of your choices before, always pleased to learn new quotes 🙂 🙂
