Help!

(Sing to the tune of Help! By the Beatles)

Help! I need somebody

Help! Not just anybody

Help! You know I need someone

Help!

When I was younger

So much younger than today

I played Nintendo 64 and was working for low pay

But now those days are gone

And my mood rings packed away

No more watching Gladiators on a Saturday

Help me if you can, I’m feeling down

I wish New Kids On The Block were still around

My makeup made me look like I was It The Clown

Won’t you please, please help me?

And now my life has changed in

Oh so many ways

Saved By the Bell has gone, and so has Happy Days

Every now and then I even miss my awful fringe

I even miss the blue mascara that made my mother cringe

Help me if you can, I’m feeling down

The curtain haircut is no longer still around

House of Pain no longer like to Jump Around

Won’t you please, please help me?

Those were the days of floppy disks and Magic Eye

And when Mufasa kicked the bucket everybody cried

We put glitter on our face and scrunchies in our hair

When bum bags and boobs tubes were the trendy thing to wear.

Help me if you can, I’m feeling down

I’m sad cassettes and VHS are not around

Pogs and Rugrats are both six feet underground

Won’t you please, please help me?

Help me, help me

Ooh!

  1. You forgot Texan bars and clear coke. What kind of sadist are you?! That was brilliant! To be honest though, there’s nothing worse than seeing how old and geezerly some of my former heartthrobs were. I’m going to throat punch the next person that tells me how many years it’s been since Dirty Dancing cane out! 😂😂
